Ramgoolam Stop Partying Maccareena Style and Refresh on his Maths

The leader of the 2000 Remake alliance, Sir Anerood Jugnauth (SAJ) referred to the PM Navin Ramgoolam’s “bad mathematical skills” after the latter proclaimed victory at the recent municipal elections.
SAJ was speaking at a press conference held by the MMM/MSM alliance in the presence of MMM leader Paul Bérenger on Saturday.

“Ramgoolam has the guts to say he won the municipal elections. I wonder where he learned his mathematics. He wants to warp people’s perception of him and make people believe in his illusion,” said SAJ.

He insisted the figures were clear-cut and that it was up to the population to decide whether the government received a “correction.” He added the Labour Party/Parti Mauricien Social Democrate (PTr/PMSD) alliance received a shock during the recent municipal elections and congratulated the population for voting to “clean out the municipalities.” The former President of the republic invited the governing party to “make merry while they could” before the general elections.

“The village elections created a wave, which was reinforced during the municipal elections and will transform into a tsunami for the 2015 general elections,” said Jugnauth. Both leaders are still ready to work with the Mouvement Mauricien Social Démocrate and requested its leader Eric Guimbeau “to shoulder his responsibilities and bring the promised wind of change in Curepipe.”
